Andrew Jackson was the hero of common man. Throughout history Jackson was always the person to be significant in wars and politics. He was a major general in the War of 1812, and won the only battle for U.S. in New Orleans. Andrew Jackson was elected into the house, and senate. When elected for presidency, he pushed a democracy to care for the common people of society. He helped to steer the young United States into the correct direction that we are in today. He looked out for his country, and did not get "blindsighted" by the Second Bank of the United States. He saw that it was too powerful, and put a quick end to it.
